The MNL48 3rd General Elections was announced on March 13, 2020. It was held from February 6, 2021 to February 20, 2021 at ABS-CBN, Its Showtime Online Universe and at It's Showtime Live. Fans can vote for their favorite member.

• Aubrey Ysabelle Delos Reyes, Marsela Mari Guia, Valerie Joyce Daita, Daryll Matalino, Ericka Joyce Sibug, Jhona Alyanah Padillo, and Nicelle Joy Bozon applied for the Election, but retired their application after their graduation announcement.
• Jillian Shane Pilones, Querubin Gonzalez and Yiesha Amera Ungad applied for the Election, but retired their application after they withdrew from the group.
• Erica Maria Macabutas, Shaira Duran, and Shaina Duran applied for the Election, but got terminated on December 31, 2020.
• Only Glaciana Marie Pelagio and Jashmin Iballo are the only members that didn't ranked.
• Ella Mae Amat had the biggest ranking increase (from non-rank to #5), while Kyla Angelica Marie De Catalina had the biggest ranking decrease (from #14 to #40).
• For members who ranked in the top 48 for both this year and last year's elections, Sandee Garcia had the biggest ranking increase (#48 to #7).
• For newly-ranked members, Francese Therese Pinlac had the biggest ranking increase (Non-rank to #23).
