She has practiced dance since 1st grade of elementary school, including idol dance, jazz, ballet, and theme park-style hip hop styles.
- She practiced jazz dance the most. There were many times when she wanted to quit, but she loved creating performances for the annual recital.
She was in her middle school brass band and played percussion.
She likes anime. She can quickly recognize anime voice actors by their voices.
She includes a segment in her blog called "Sugiura Jankenpon" where she plays rock-paper-scissors with the reader. She announces the game, then leaves blank space for the reader to pick rock, paper, or scissors. Then she writes which of the three she picked.
