Orii Ayumi was a member of AKB48's Team A. She is now affiliated with Flave Entertainment.

History

2005

• She joined AKB48 on October 30th as a member of the first Generation, also known as the Original Team A. During her tenure, though there was no official captaincy system, she was recognised as unofficial team leader.
• On December 8th she was part of the Grand Theatre Opening in Akihabara, Tokyo during AKB48's first stage performance; this marks the day of the AKB48 Anniversary now.

2006

• AKB48's first single Sakura no Hanabiratachi was released on February 1st. It was chosen by fans as the first single, as it was their favorite song from Team A's first stage Party ga Hajimaru yo. As a part of Team A, Orii was chosen as a participating member.

2007

• On January 21st, she graduated from AKB48 in order to become an actress.

2009

• Orii wrote the lyrics for the song "Yuukan na Bokura" (勇敢な僕ら), included in Hoshino Michiru's first mini album "Sotsugyou". The album was released on April 25th.

2011

• Along with 5 other vocalists and 1 guitarist, she was part of the special unit "Daybreakers". They released a storybook concept album on October 5th, called "Return to ZERO".

2013

• On January, she changed agencies from office48 to Flave Entertainment (renaming of the agency).

2014

• On December 8th, she lanunched her handmade candle brand, Attractive.

2016

• On March 27th, she participated in the last day of Shuku Takahashi Minami Graduation "148.5cm no Mita Yume" in Yokohama Stadium to sing Sakura no Ki ni Narou and Sakura no Hanabiratachi along with other Original Team A members. Two days later, she wrote a blog post dedicated to Takamina, of whom she claims to be a big fan.
