- On January 21th, was officially chosen by Team K.
- On November 28th, was part of her first song Saikyou Twintail on the single NO WAY MAN. She centered this song.

- On January 11th, came in second place at the AKB48 Group First Singing Contest.
- On January 16th, had her first solo concert "Yahagi Moeka Solo Concert 〜Minna Matomete Suchi ni Sasechau zo ♡〜."

- On July 5th, held a live stream on her Instagram and TikTok account, where she performed four original songs called "Shake It", "Peter Pan" (ピーターパン), "Onomatope" (オノマトペ), and "Encore" (アンコール). She also sang a cover and an original encore song.
- On October 14th, announced that she ended her contract with Avex Management after one and a half years. After ending her contract, Moeka went on a social media hiatus for another year and a half and didn't appear anywhere publicly otherwise.

- On July 5th, caused a stir online after posting photos of herself with a birthday cake.
2023
- In April, a rumor surfaced that Moeka had signed with another agency called Pony Canyon, but the artist page on Pony Canyon's website was then deleted. Nobody either confirmed or denied the rumors.
- On May 22nd, posted a video on twitter with the caption, "I'm ready. Are you ready?" which included the announcement of a live concert to be held on July 5th, 2023 (Moeka's 21st birthday).
- On July 5th, released her first digital single titled "Don't stop the music."
- On September 15th, appeared in the magazine LARME, edition 059.
- On October 25th, will release her first album titled "SPILT MILK."
