Synopsis
This show aims to let members of AKB48's most recent generation, 17th Generation, experiment with various skills and experiences to become the best idols they can be.
The show is streamed on Nico Nico Channel Plus, and viewers need to subscribe specifically to the programme to watch it (price: ¥880 per month). The members will earn benefits depending on the number of subscribers they earn. If they fail to exceed 2,000 subscribers within 1 year of the first broadcast, the show will be shut down.

Trivia
- The program's name consists of 'ii na', which means 'good' or 'nice', but is also short for 'ichi nana', meaning '17'; referring to the members' generation.
- The second half of the name, 'kenkyuujou' means 'research laboratory'. Due to the shows nature of 'experimenting' with different experiences, the name is a word play both on the theme of the show and the word 'kenkyuusei' (trainee), as all members are still kenkyuusei.
