- She has been a fan of AKB48 since she was in elementary school. She learned the dance to Skirt, Hirari when she was 6 years old.
- She applied for the AKB48 Group 3rd Draft Kaigi in 5th grade, even though she was below the eligible age. She was inspired by Noro Kayo, who had lied about her age when she auditioned. Eriko did not lie and actually passed the first round, but was then eliminated when her age was checked in the second round.
- She never auditioned for NMB48 despite being from Osaka Prefecture.
- She loves idols and can talk for an hour if it's about idols.
- When asked to demonstrate, she talked about how in AKB48 every A-side release has a different concept and members always have different positions in the formation. This gives the group a unique charm. She also loves creating concert setlists by herself, and says she’s already planning a setlist for a 17th Generation member concert someday.

- When the 17th Generation members were traveling to TGC Teen 2022 Fukuoka, Eriko was was stopped at the airport baggage check because she had brought 3 pairs of scissors (for hair and paper cutting).
- She would like to perform a 17th Generation version of Wasshoi B!.

2022
- On May 4th, joined AKB48 as a member of its 17th Generation.
- On May 12th, started sending mail to the AKB48 Private Mail service.
- On May 18th, had her first and only appearance on AKB48, Saikin Kiita? ~Issho ni Nanka Yatte Mimasen ka?~ (AKB48、最近聞いた？～一緒になんかやってみませんか？～).
- On June 6th, had her theater debut as a "Zenza Girl" (undercard) at the Thumbnail stage, alongside Kohama Kokone.
- On June 6th, had her first appearance on AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san (AKB48サヨナラ毛利さん).
- On July 10th, had her first appearance on AKB48 Ii na Kenkyuujou (AKB48いーな研究所).
- On July 28th, was identified as a close contact to Hasegawa Niina and Kohama Kokone, who tested positive for COVID-19. As such, she went into self isolation and refrained from activities.
