OUT OF 48 is a weekly AKB48 variety show. It replaced the time slot of AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san. The show was originally operated as an audition show to create a new girl group - the final lineup, to debut in August 2024, was then named UNLAME. The show continued beyond their audition and formation, usually focusing on the members of UNLAME, but later also serving as a general variety show for AKB48.

AKB48 Kenkyuusei Evaluation
Overview
From episode 43 onwards, the show took a turn in direction and focused on the members of AKB48's 17th Generation. First, the members underwent a character check with a hidden camera. In this, the staff had hired a fake producer and AD to run the members through the set-up of a new variety show (which didn't exist); the producer and AD would prank the girls and ask them to do strange things (such as performing a boring one-shot gag, setting them up to bad-mouth their senpais, etc.) and see how they reacted.
In the second round of evaluations, the members were given an original song to learn to see whether their dance skills were worthy of being promoted. The song included very intense choreography.

- Sato Airi - 360 pts
- Yamazaki Sora - 320 pts
