- She was good friends with former member Matsumura Miku. The two formed a combi together, "Angel Master and Disciple", where Nagisa was the "Angel Master" and Miku was the "Disciple".
- She met HKT48's Unjo Hirona in the final round of the AKB48 Team 8 audition in Hokkaido. Nagisa was selected as the Hokkaido representative, while Hirona would later go on to debut with HKT48.
- Theater manager Hosoi Takahiro described her as strong-willed and hardworking in everything. Mogi Kasumi echoed that she is a hard worker, while Yokoyama Yui commented that she is like everyone's little sister.

2014
- In March, was selected as the Hokkaido representative for Team 8 out of 544 applications.
- On April 3rd, was officially revealed as a member of AKB48's Team 8 (Team 8 formation).
- On June 24th, had her first appearance on AKBINGO!. She was one of 15 selected Team 8 members that performed Koi Suru Juuden Prius with Sashihara Rino.
- On July 29th, was one of 16 selected Team 8 members that performed 47 no Suteki na Machi e on AKBINGO!.
- On August 6th, had her theater debut at the shonichi performance of Team 8's 1st Stage, PARTY ga Hajimaru yo.
- On August 27th, was part of her first song, 47 no Suteki na Machi e, on AKB48's 37th single Kokoro no Placard.
