The Tokyo Idol Festival is an annual event held in Tokyo, hosting different idol groups. The event will be held in 2022 on the weekend from August 5th to 7th. Various idol groups performed at the same time on different stages set up for the event. The host this year has yet to be announced.
AKB48's Team 8 will serve as the official Nationwide Supporter of this year's event.
