• Started training with Starship Entertainment (was a trainee for 1 year and 2 months before joining Produce 48).

2018

• In June, had her first appearance as a candidate on the Korean survival show Produce 48.
• On August 31st, came in 1st place with a total of 338,366 votes on the finale of Produce 48. This meant that she would debut with IZONE.

• On October 29th, IZONE's debut album COLOR*IZ was released, featuring Wonyoung in all songs.
