History
2017
- Started training with Starship Entertainment (was a trainee for 1 year and 2 months before joining Produce 48).
2018
- In June, had her first appearance as a candidate on the Korean survival show Produce 48.
- On August 31st, came in 1st place with a total of 338,366 votes on the finale of Produce 48. This meant that she would debut with IZONE.
- Her official color is pink.
- On October 29th, IZONE's debut album COLOR*IZ was released, featuring Wonyoung in all songs.
- In December, was ranked #88 in "The Most 100 Beautiful Faces of 2018."
2019
- On February 6th, had her Japanese debut with IZONE and the single Suki to Iwasetai. She was also the center for this single.
- On April 3rd, appeared in the popular Korean television show "Let's Eat Dinner Together" alongside Block B's P.O.
- On November 9th, was supposed to appear on "Amazing Saturday" alongside Choi Yena, but the episode was postponed following the news about the Produce 48 voting scandal.
2020
- On February 24th, appeared in "Amazing Saturday" alongside Choi Yena.
2021
- In January and February, was one of the 5 IZONE members chosen for an endorsement between Pepsi and STARSHIP Entertainment.
- On April 29th, IZONE officially disbanded.
- On August 2nd, appeared in some CMs for Innisfree (cosmetic brand).
- On November 4th, was revealed as a member of the STARSHIP group "IVE" (아이브).
- On December 1st, had her debut as a member of IVE.
- The debut single album "Eleven" became the highest peaking debut by a K-Pop girl group on Billboard Global 200 (#68) & Billboard Global Excluding USA (#38).

- On April 10th, had her comeback album with "I've IVE" as a member of IVE.
- On May 31st, had her Japanese comeback with the EP "Wave" as a member of IVE.

- In October, filed a lawsuit against the Youtuber "Park" for defamation. STARSHIP had already filed a lawsuit against the same Youtuber in July, which was still undergoing investigation.
- On October 7th, kicked off IVE's 1st world tour, IVE The 1st World Tour <Show What I Have>.
- On October 6th, released the pre-comeback single "Off The Record" as a member of IVE.
- On October 13th, released her first EP and 4th overall comeback with I'VE MINE as a member of IVE.
- On December 14th, received the "Asia Celebrity Award" at the Asia Artist Awards 2023. IVE was also awarded the "Best Artist Award" as a group.
2024
- On January 17th, it was announced she won her lawsuit against the Youtuber Park for defamation. The awarded damages to Wonyoung amounted ₩100,000,000 (~$75,000 on this date).
- On January 19th, released the single All Night (feat. Saweetie) as a member of IVE.
- Released on February 1st, starred in Hapa Kristin's "Pondy Kristin" CM.
