AKB48's 17th Generation were selected from the AKB48's 17th Generation Auditions held from December 2021 to March 2022. The 11 members of the 17th generation were introduced to fans during a live stream on 4th May 2022 as Kenkyuusei. All members were promoted to Regular Members on March 17, 2024. They currently have 10 members.
