3nin no Principal (3人のプリンシパル) is a musical performed by Nogizaka46's 3rd generation. The performances are being held in AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from the 2nd to 11th of February, 2017. It is the 4th season of Nogizaka46's 16nin no Principal musicals, and the first season since June 2014.

Description

Act One

Act one is the audition. The members announce their candidacy for the role they want to fill for the second act and the audience are the judges. The members appeal to the audience in four ways: dance inspection, self introduction, practised performance ("etude"), and acting. In addition all members performed three Nogizaka songs.

Act Two

Act two is the musical. The theme for this season is on the Galactic Railroad. Members can choose which of three parts to audition for: Giovanni, Campanella or the Scorpion, and the audience votes for one member per part. For the most part, only the three selected members perform for the second act.

Act Three

The final act is a mini concert. This is a first for the Principal musical series. All 12 members perform for this part.
