Single AKB48 40th [Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai] (2015/05/20)

I don't know if this has been said here yet or if its true but according to the wiki page for Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai there will be a dance version or the mv released on youtube after the release of Halloween Night.

Is this true? I really hope it is

Watching it again, still makes me wonder why people were complaining that the first performance was messy and the huge senbatsu makes it look cluttered or something. It was actually good. The dance execution was not bad at all. Though whenever I see Sae and Tano dancing, I'm reminded how some of the others lack "power" in their movements. And I love how Jurina seemed to be one of the few who looked chill and relax with the difficult choreo.

Good for Paruru for being the center of this song; she did well. Though I admit, I still rather have it that Jurina or Mayu centered this song instead.

 

I'm pretty sure it looked bad when akbingo first presented it because of their weird editing.

Still have not watched that PV.

I guess I will just have to put it along side of Gangnam Style, a MV I stubbornly refuse to watch. Though, at least with GS I have seen most, if not all, parodies. Not even sure if there are parodies of BwT.

 

May I ask the reason why you refuse to watch both music videos?

 

Sure.

For GS, the hype. That and what little bits I saw from gifs and a couple of clips, meh. Than it became a thing. Watch all the parodies, avoid the official vid like a plague. I do appreciate it forced YT to rewrite the code for the view count on the video pages, so many views it actually broke. But I still won't watch the vid. And if anyone is wondering what is my fave parody. Klingon Style.

For BwT. I felt lied to. They said 32nin senbatsu. But only 16 make the vid? And after the disaster that was the Green Flash PV and to a lesser extent KR? I was.... Upset. I got it stuck in my head that I would not watch thing. I would not have bought it if the SSK votes were not part of the bundle.

 

Fair enough. They're both music videos that I would recommend watching at least once, but I respect your resolve.
