New teams will perform at the concert. But the current older teams will continue performing in the theater until the TBD senshuuraku (closing show) for the old teams, and shonichi (first show) for the new teams are scheduled.

Can someone link me the videos that had a member holding a camera and touring the stage while showcasing the members? I know SKE did them, Team 8 also did them, and 2 AKB ones were done too. However, I can’t find them anymore so links will be greatly appreciated.

I have a question that has been in the back of my mind for a while, how were the Senbatsu members for the first SDN48 single announced? Because wasn’t it like an election? A voting thing?

When do they (48/46 Groups) normally reveal cover art for all editions of an upcoming single? And what is a Media Senbatsu?

I don’t think this deserves its own thread, there’s a questions and answers thread.

I don't think there's a particular rule for when they reveal the covers, usually it's a few weeks or a month before the release.

Media sembatsu are the members of the sembatsu who appear on music shows and so on to promote the single in the media. Sometimes only the media sembatsu are in the PV as well (see Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai). It only applies to the larger sembatsus though. Hope that helps~

There's no set rule or anything for that, my man. The front members or solo cover (if there is one) is always Type A from what I can remember. Feel free to take a look at the jacket covers under their discography here if you want to try find a pattern yourself: http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/AKB48

Thanks! I'm hoping Sakuratan makes it on to either type A or B jackets for "Teacher Teacher".

They did it differently for "JaBaJa" though, and I'm confused on wether or not that they'll go the same route for "Teacher Teacher"

Mod edit: please avoid “double posting” in the threads. Thank you.

In 2012 I was able to join the AKB fan club (for an extra ssk vote) with a non Japanese credit card and a Tenso address. Would this still work now or has the fan club registration changed?

I have a little wierd question, but I keep wondering about it.
Why so many girls in 48g have strabismus? Do japanese people find it cute (like yaeba etc)?
Of cours I don’t have a problem with it, I am just curious, since there is no way for girls with this kind of eye issue, to be so popular in european showbiz.

Well, I don't know if it's any more common among Japanese people in general, but at least they don't worry as much about it. Idols are not really expected to be perfect or to look like models or something, general charm is more important. So a girl who is cute and charming, even if she is not an extreme beauty, can be a successful idol :)
