Thanks for making a thread for this. Looks awesome too. The setlist looked fantastic and the pictures from Kaneko made the whole thing seem like a lot of fun.

A few announcements from the thing:

Ripopo will have another talk live in November. (which was already mentioned) and NMB will have a solo appearance on Music Station on 10/18.

The whole point was to do shuffles that no one would expect. Hence Milky doing Bird and Sayanee doing Glass no I Love You. Members like Lemon/Yuuri also got to do cool songs like Blue Rose as well.

Even within NMB, BIRD has been sang by many different members already. Rikanyan centered it a few times, Maachun has done it, etc etc. And yeah, Sayaka's by far the best BIRD center even within the whole AKB group. I'm definitely curious what a Milky version would sound like... I think she has a good singing voice, but she's also basically an octave higher than Sayaka .

And I have no problem with shuffling things around. The day Sayaka sings Warukii (Wayaka?) would be the most epic day in the history of days.

The real 2nd Jurina is back!

Wow that changes a lot of things? It's weird having the "ace" as a KKS, things moved on, Meru's title will be one less now, no Team M, no NMB as a whole moved on. How will she fit. Fuuchan, I don't want her to feel like she's been a 2nd choice or a replacement all along.

It's weird.

Not sure how I feel about Jo coming back. For her to quit and "put her education first" and then to come back into the entertainment industry not long after... can I take that to mean she decided to give up on school after all? And it's not like she can just pick up where she left off. NMB has a lot more pushed future aces now, and I just don't know how well she'll do against them, especially Fuuko who's claimed all the opportunities already and got concurrency with Team A. She even missed out on the recent massive KKS events, and now Draft season is about to start. I'm just doubtful whether this decision will pay off, she can't exactly keep going between NMB and school, it's possible neither will end up working out.

Personally I'm most excited for the Team M tour. I hope they take this chance to have more and more people realise that M is unrivalled when it comes to performance and especially entertainment. A lot of people are still too caught up with N to look past them it seems.

I won't say too much about Jo. I've mixed feelings. It all depends on the way she gets treated, but Hirorin not being promoted to the empty slot in Team M that was obviously going to - and supposed to - be hers is not a good sign for things. For now I'm looking forward to seeing her in the Seishun Girls performances. I think Jo is gonna fit right into Moka's spot.

edit: Jo should be fine with school considering the way it works in Japan. If she got into a proper high school she won't have to worry about much for a while.

I'm really happy Jo is back. She did promise that she will return to NMB after she settled up her education; she's in high school now; probably everything is less hectic for her now compared when she's in junior high.

I thought NMB doesn't have many future aces, especially compared to SKE & HKT. NMB always contributes fewer members compared to the other groups in AKB singles. Yagura Fuuko, Yabushita Shu & Shibuya Nagisa are the only ones who are visibly favored by the management. cmiiw

The treatment that Jo will receive will be different compared to the one she got before she left, I guess; but I think she will be promoted faster than the other kenkyuusei, just like Suzuki Shihori...

I will wait further information about Jo coming back ; i hope she tells her what's on her mind and why she decided to rejoin NMB48.

The question is : who will step down to let Jo come back?

I don't see the point for Jo to come back if she do not take her former position in Team M. It would be illogical
