I'm a bit surprised that groups like NEWS are there (I thought they're not that popular compared to before) or Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (she also lost popularity), yet none of 48/46 groups or members are there except Sasshi as individual. I guess their popularity is indeed lower than before, idk if they were in the ranking in the previous years, does anyone here knows?

and does anyone have the full girl group ranking for this year? who ranked #1 and #2 (above AKB)? and who ranked #4 (above Nogi & Keyaki)?

I didn't know they're so popular. could they take over AKB next year?

Btw, if you don't know Flower, they are a group who's part of E-girls.



and about the list of musical acts with Sasshi and Maiyan,
I guess they're counting anyone who's involved with music (groups too)
as expected Sasshi ranked, and I'm glad to see Maiyan there! queen!

 

I think that Sakamoto Sayaka is a typo...

 

Just googled the name and doesn't exist. So that should be Sayanee. Well then everything makes sense^^

The Nikkei group ratings have always seemed a little suspicious, as if there was some editorial input into the rankings rather than just pure objective statistics.

 

Interesting group assignments - a quick scan in the AKB one revealed Sasshi, Harrupi and Sayanee all included. So members, grads, kennin, transfers...

 

It looks like each generation is going to have it's 10th anniversary performance in the end (if i got it right)
4th gen, 10th year show is sheduled for 05/26

It would be nice if they brought back graduates and so on, but a 6th gen stage with just two girls... dunno lol

Erm what...? E-girls is very popular in the mainstream and especially with teenage girls. They're so popular we try our best to act like they're not idols.
