It’s been a while since my last post here. But after such a turbulent period in their career, what a comeback!

BLOOM*IZ is such a spectacular album, I think it’s their best! Dreamlike is probably my favourite - the production in that song is so dreamy and gorgeous, I kinda wish they’d go for something a bit mote mellowed out and chill like that as the pushed-song.

Fiesta MV is beautiful although I personally think it’s their weakest Korean A-side because of how... “busy” the song sounds. Their choreo for the song is also quite... messy in my opinion. So many movements and change of formation everywhere but I notice this has been a trend among KPop groups lately, where choreos are getting a bit too complicated for the song.

Other than that, I am glad their reception has been warm - they seem to be killing it in sales and I do wish them the best of luck for the last 1 year of their career...

I remember at the time BP used a trick. YG kind of postponed physical sales for a few days. The MV and the music were released, they promoted for a few days only with digital release and days later released the physical release.
For me clearly a cheat (because the release of the song and the promotional cycle boost the sales), but their fans say it wasn't because the pre-sale period was the same as the other groups. (in short: they decreased the trailer/teasers period, to extend the pre-sale to after the song was released).
In this way, they almost doubled the previous record of Twice/Izone.

ok but, this whole album is amazing!! iz*one seriously doesn't disappoint (except Buenos arias, sorry)
Chaewon's hair looks stunning and Hitomi's hairstyle 33 can't forget to mention Eunbi and her gorgeous bangs!

I've been listening to the album on repeat for like 4 hours now. Fiesta definitely is a worthy title track. I hate the dumb knetizen's who think that their petition is going to do anything, considering KBS was just like "hey we saw your complaint, but we really don't care".

Anyways, i can't wait for AKB's single after this. so far 2020 is looking good for 48g!

I can't hear all 12 girls clapping during Fiesta's chorus, so I don't think the mic was on. But it was pretty normal I believe for 1st showcase of any new songs.

 

Even if they weren't singing live on the comeback stage, I can definitely tell how much everyone has improved singing-wise. And the dancing is a whole another level.

This album was so worth the wait that I kept playing Fiesta on repeat on Spotify throughout the whole day.

Some things I found interesting

1. CHAEWON???? When did she have such a splurge in popularity??? Even without SO CURIOUS, she'd be at 382k views and just behind Sakura... Still more than 100k+ ahead of Chaeyeon... I'm impressed wow. She's also got more views on FIESTA alone than Hey. Bae. Like It OR Spaceship OR So Curious with all members combined...
2. Also Hitomi??? She's in the top 5 of all songs
3. In contrast, Nako is a lot lower in every song than I expected
4. Eunbi... the only one with less than 100k views... She's probably over 100k now with the Close Up versions but damn... I thought she was more popular than Hyewon at least. I know there's not a lot of difference, and Hyewon is quite popular in Japan anyway
5. Not surprised that Hey. Bae. Like It doesn't have a lot of views because it's an 'old' song but Spaceship is doing mediocre at best as well

Got my first order! The cards in the khino kit are really great -- two complete sets!
But I think the best gimmick is the AR cards that come with the cd versions. These are really cute.

Have a dumb question regarding the minicards inside the mini envelopes -- is this just a collectible thing or does it have a use?
