It's the name of the person you're talking about. In Japanese you usually use a person's name rather than saying "you" etc.

Oh I got that it was honorific, I just didn't understand it there in particular... but I kind of drifted through the whole keigo thing in class... :XD: thanks!

    Oh I see. Thank You!
Should that be first name, last name, full name or nickname? :fear:

Well since it's a fan letter, either their last name + さん(san, the normal polite suffix somewhat akin to Mr/Ms/Mrs) or just their nickname without the san. I'd go with the nickname personally (so replace "「A]さん" with, for example, "みいちゃん" (miichan)).

Hmmmmmm, okay i've got a question.

Say... if the letter was for say, Erepyon, who isn't an idol anymore, would it suddenly make it inappropriate to use her idol nickname? Just wondering... [think]

Remember about the spam mail that Sakiko received from Umeda-san? XD
I received it, too, yesterday, but surely I didn't know what was the correct reply to that...

    I replied
    『Here it came…Σ(・□・;)』

『Here it came (@⌒ー⌒@)ノ heh heh ah ah ah』
    isn't it scary?

For the time being, I replied
    『You make me angry XD』

I am going to the handshake event in Hong Kong this Thurs.
Although I don't know Japanese, I want to say something meaningful to the girls.

Can I someone kindly do a little translation for me?
I would like to ask for both Kanji (so that I can listen using Google Translate) and romaji, and as simple as possible.

    For Iriyama Anna:
    1) I love Team 4 most!
    2) A very late happy birthday for your birthday early this month.
    3) Help me say happy birthday to Haruu tomorrow!

    For Kato Rena:
    1) Hope you get promoted to regular member very soon!
    2) You are my most favourite KKS!! (actually it is a lie :p but she is still one of my top 3 KKS)

    Hope someone can help!! [bow]

I think i can say some of those things, but i'm not 100% sure if what I write will be correct, so i'll leave it to someone who is more fluent. If nobody gets back, please let me know and i'll try my best or ask a friend :)

Here you go. I kept it simple so you won't have to remember too much.

    1) チーム4が一番好き。Team 4 ga ichiban suki.
    2) ちょっと遅れたけど、お誕生日おめでとう!Chotto okureta kedo, o-tanjoubi omedetou!
    3) Do you want her to say happy birthday to Haruu for you? How do you want her to help you?

    1) すぐ正規メンバーになるといいですね。Sugu seiki member ni naru to ii desu ne.
    2) 研究生の中、れなっちが押しメンです。Kenkyuusei no naka, Renacchi ga oshi-men desu.

    ^ If I may interject, I believe that will be fine. If you're really concerned, you can say 'happy birthday' with a Japanese inflection (ハッピーバスディー) so there will be no confusion. I reckon they'll understand you just fine though, as its a common phrase...and because of Namida Surprise. XD;;
