Nakamoto Himeka (Himetan) / 1st Gen

Watched some NogiDan on YouTube this morning.

Himetan, get well soon and come back to Nogizaka! You are missed.

 

How is she doing? Any news? I miss her bright face.

 

Two weeks ago, she was hang out with Ikuchan and Nojo. Confirmed by Iku's mobame

 

Why am I always the last to hear about this?

Hope she's doing alright. Did they say anything?

 

A bit of good news I think, it's not as if she needs to be confined at home because of her health. I'm sure she's doing just fine. By now I'm very hopeful she's recovered already.

 

Iku basically didnt explain Hime health. She just said that she go out with Nojo, Chiharu, and Hime. They celebrate Chi's birthday and their coming age of twenties. Here's the pict

 

Still good to know she can enjoy time with friends. It's better than no news at all. So thanks for sharing

If I understood correctly, she went to see Himetan. Reika was praised and therefore happy. Himetan is doing well.

I learn Japanese by myself, using some websites, apps and books that work for me. As for listening comprehension, I watch Nogi shows without subtitles.

 

I am doing the same thing, except I am no where near comprehending anything!

 

"genki dayo", plus that Reika smile, Hime is doing fine...
that's really good to hear, in captain we trust!!!

 

Please have patience. I don't know what your level is, but before you know it, things will 'click'. You just have to familiarize yourself with the speed and sound of Japanese language. Listening to Nogizaka46, for example, does help. Probably very little, but it certainly does. Sometimes when I listen to a Nogi song, I find myself understanding words or phrases I didn't understand before.

A good place to start working on your listening is Youtube. There are many video's with the listening sections of the JLPT, so you can pick your level and practice. It's boring, but it does the job. As for Nogi related material, a good place to start is Nogieigo. It has lots of English, and even some grammar explanation. Although it is for Japanese people to understand English, it all helps. Most important thing, that show is fun! And having fun while studying is the most important thing to keep yourself going.

@Seditious85 Thanks for the tips. I'm more lazy in my approach that's why I'm barely getting anywhere. If I were more diligent...

Also, thumbs up for linking kung fu hime blog translations, it's where you should get you're Himetan fix if you can't read Japanese. I'm hoping for the translator to start back up once Himetan rejoins Nogizaka.
