[NEW GROUP] JKT48

Quite interesting. First all those talks about HKT48 and Nogizaka46, now an Indonesian equivalent to AKB48...

 

Which is why I'm kinda refusing to comment on this at the moment. All we have is a twitter feed but no manner of PR news release from both countries. And is it me, or are the FB links not working? [wonder]

I'll wait and see how this turns out, but I am leaning towards the "it's real" side of the spectrum...

 

Perhaps April Fools is in August in Indonesia.

It seems that the JKT48 page is restricted and can only be accessed with facebook profiles that have Indonesia listed as their current location..

I just confirmed this yesterday.. Even though I'm an Indonesian I can't open it because currently I'm residing in Malaysia and have it as my location in profile. So far including you there are 2 cases (including me) like this. Anyone can test and confirm this? Try opening the official facebook page and see if it works

 

This whole things reminds me of Eguchi Aimi "scandal"

the only ***48 family that I care is only AKB and SKE, the rest I just ignore them

 

^In terms of the ruckus and the sensation it created (not as much as Aimi though). I remember those times when we were all speculating about her and suddenly someone mentioned she was not tangible. Factions were created, each holding their own argument.

I would say, the moment one or two photos got leaked out, such factions will be created too; those who agree and those who oppose them [sealed]

i also akb48 member from indonesia, well to be honest i also feeling doubt about this JKT48 group for the first time coz no announcement from the akb48 management itself and it seem there are lot of wota still doubt about it eventhough it already said official now. i'm glad as knowing that this is official but i also sad coz i heard from some of my friend recently that there already some anti group for this project the group even have been created yet and there already the anti. i know it up to the person wanna accept / not but all i can said, lets give them a chance first. lets wait until november. If people don't like something.. they should just leave it alone.. why waste time to tell the world you are 'anti'?


I remember some of those 'anti' group in Indonesia who claims they are 'anti' to a band, but they follow the band progress, know the band songs and even go to the concerts, I honestly do not understand them :nothappy:

I agree, even if they're good at singing(which they are supposedly good at), it's a no-revenue venture if the girls are not good looking

Yup, I agree with you. Thus there is this thing called an audition, lol

One of the requirements listed there (in indonesian language) is to be attractive and photogenic. Of course, this is like a standard requirement for idol groups

As some has mentioned above, I'm also concerned about the quality but let's just hope the judges pick out the best of the best so that this will be a great idol group.
