    My Nihongo isn't perfect.
But it seems Miki has announced that she will now become an idol again but this time as a solo! :1st:
She said there will soon be new songs that she will sing!

She also starred in two shows during the week.

Miki is seriously ambitious, shes the type of person that simply will not give up! That's what I really like about her!

Miki news. She was on tv and talked about the cost of her apartment when she was a member, ¥210,00 a month, and today, ¥80,000 a month. She also claims she makes only ¥1000 an hour (which means it takes her 80 hours earn her rent).

However, she is returning to the idol business!

Ah Im sad that Miki lives miserable life after AKB. I wonder if she would choose not to graduate if she could.

I hope her solo career is successful.

For me Mikichan was one of the most entertaining AKB members. 1000 yen per hour is the minimum wage in Japan, right? What a comedown :(.

So I also hope her solo career is successful.

How much would someone like Miki have earned while she was a member. The monthly rent seems quite high for someone who was somewhat on the periphery.

Also is the BBQ restaurant she is working at the one run by the former AKB member?

For those who don't know what word they translated as BBQ, it's 焼肉 Yakiniku, as in IWA, the yakiniku restaurant run by Uchida Mayumi. She has been working there for over a year (see posts from last April)

    http://yakiniku-iwa.com/

P.S. IWA had a prelims viewing party last night.

Update on a slightly different topic (but then SSK is one topic)

    Miki voted for Mako.

    "Happy birthday my friend
    I voted for that ~"

    https://twitter.com/mikinishino4/status/1001838310245859329

She bought two CDs and was on Showroom with Miichan (I guess she voted once for each).

I just feel so bad for her. Obviously she didn’t manage her finances wisely, but what teenager would?

This isn’t the path for every former member, since her paycheck currently comes from a girl who never ranked in ssk and seemingly had way less jobs.

The reception to this news seems rather cold. Her crowd funding isn’t going very fast. Hope things can work out for her.

I hope she has more success in the future. I always liked her because she was so damn entertaining, but to be honest I am not sure she can be a regular idol who just sings and dances. Of course I wish her the best of luck with her solo idol career.

She is still young so if the entertainment industry isn't working out for her then there should be many other ways open for her.

David61 in the AKB general thread mentioned an online tv show she hosted.

(cross posted) Wallop has a YT channel. Here is one from April this year.

    Speaking of Miki's Apartment,

It was shown on a Abematv variety show last year. Though im not sure if its her post AKB or pre-AKB apartment since it was only just a few months after she graduated.
Here is the episode, you might need to use a japanese VPN to see it though.
