It's only first day, the most important thing is the total sales. But, too bad this single is actually great, my prediction was totally wrong... and yeah AKB is canibalizing their sister group's sales through SSK...

 

The lowest 1st day after their debut, even compared to SKE's chicken and HKT's 7.4b, Amagami still the lowest.

Just let SKE's and HKT's fanatical zombies say the greatest IG in 48G is the weakest sister group ever.

Damn, I thought NMB fans care the least about the elections and I hoped for 50% more sales. I was wrong.

But if NMB remains under-represented in SSK again...

Well, if AKB's next single spikes over 1.6 million on its first day, we can guess where the sister group sales went.
But if not... this is just the 48 brand not being hot stuff anymore (not that it has been for a while, but yeah).

 

I hope the sale will raise in the second day, cause I think it's good single

 

I see that comin tho. but yeah, its just the first day...and imo fans still can make it if they buy more singles, esp them who wanted to save NMB in chart.

its not work that way. bc at the end of the day, when SSK season comes, it will affect the sales no matter what. ofc its just one from many reasons. while the others fe including AKB trends wich in decline, and also the leaving of popular member.

 

Could be both, and only next AKB sales will tell the truth later.

On the other hand, it's probably a blessing that Milky didn't center this. Imagine the backlash.

They've released singles before ssk every year, so that's really not an excuse

 

Yeah, that's horrible but I also didn't buy as many CDs for this single as well compare to last year's. First off, as we all know people save money for senkyo, whether people actually power vote NMB or not people generally save up a little for the senkyo. 2nd, the HS dates on this single were pretty much all Kansai. I think there were only 2 dates in Kanto and they were in the same weekend. It is true that Osaka has a bigger NMB fanbase but Tokyo simply have a huge number of population so evening out the dates among kansai/kanto probably woulda been more optimal. 3rd, I think Milky's "I will probably not show up" 755 comment really took milky sales into a dive. Of course she prolli did sell out at the end but like me people are prolli holding her tickets not sure whether to expect to show up or not. This makes buying other members a lil difficult as you don't want to buy other members assumin Milky won't show up because if she does you might end up throwin your other tickets. Lastly, they didn't have any 2shot in this single which is something they do almost every single for the longest time.

Of course I'm not saying these are the reasons why the single does poorly because these only applied to me personally and resulted me buying less but I'm sure there are some who are in the same boat as me so it's nice to consider the following.

 

Yeah, I was looking at Miyuki's handshake slots on 7/23 and only one slot sold out (the fifth one). She didn't sell out the other slots until the final round from what I've heard. It is still quite surprising that sales are small, but then again they were competing against every other group who all released their singles first (SKE, HKT, KKZ, NGK).

 

Everyone's jumping on the 46 bandwagon anyway. Not like there are an infinite number of fans.
