Hi! Yeah, I lost internet for quite a few months, so I wasn't around! It's certainly been a while!

I'm actually going to be in Japan mid November to mid December, so I'm hoping to catch something 10th anniversary related! (Or even just some theater shows would be nice!) Hope to see you around some more~

What about super enpou? Are we allowed to use it without having an account?

The package usually shows up on release day. Actually it usually shows up on that Tuesday. You will get an email the moment it ships from the warehouse letting you know when it will arrive. You pay the postal carrier.

Yes you can. Although I don't see any reason why anyone would go that route.

I keep getting rejected on the ticket center (40 times by last count). I read on 2ch that issues with your information registration can cause problems, so I canceled my account and made another one, but no dice. Should I try and contact them or could that make the problem worse?

What do you mean rejected? You mean not winning a show?

I just won a show again recently after 20-30 losses in a row... others probably know more about what's normal but I wouldn't get too discouraged. Are you applying through the official fan club and mobile fan club as well?

I have both mobile and regular and am applying for all three possible slots for SKE (regular, mobile, and enpou)

Join the club, I know of someone who hasn't won a show for 2.5 years, so 20-30 losses in a row is nothing. There isn't a need to contact them. Just keep applying.

    Raises hand

Last theater win, June 2013. Applications since, too many to count.

Yeah, we're talking about an odds of winning around 1%. Plenty of casino games have better odds than that. It'd be a like a person saying "I've been at the roulette wheel for an hour, and my number hasn't come up once. Is the wheel broken?"

It really just comes down to luck. I had a ticket center account for 5 months before I won anything, and I recently just ended an 11-month dry spell of no 48group theater shows. Believe me, I know how frustrating the wait to see your first theater show is, but just keep applying. You'll win someday.

Same here, last theater won was NMB enpou back in May 2015 and before wining this I applied for every show of every group for at least 7-8 months.
Recently got only cancelmachi for NMB in October (and it was a crappy number so I didn't even bother).
Otherwise regularly applied since 2013, so that's totally normal... to NOT win.

Is there anybody here who would have done that? I'll be in Tokyo during the Request Hour concerts but made quite a stupid mistake and missed the application period. Since there won't be any theater performances during my stay in Tokyo it seems it will be again a trip there without any way to see my favorite idols. (Funny thing is, that I've managed to see other idol groups purely by accident without even trying to see them, but that doesn't really comfort me, because for me there is only one group.)

I have a couple of questions and hope someone can answer:

When you received the winning email, where do you buy the ticket: at the Don Quijote Building or at the Counter outside of the AKB48 Café next to the Akihabara Station?

When you have your ticket, do you have to wait and line up on the street in front of the Don Quijote Building (I saw there a line last year) or can you go direct up to the 8th floor?

I am assuming you won a show at the akb48 theater? You purchase the ticket at the box office on the 8th floor. You also queue up on the 8th floor. Any line you saw on the street in front of the Donki was for something else...

Well, it has been a while since I won there. But I haven't heard of any procedural changes regarding tickets and queues

^^ I won last month, everything is the same. All the action happens on the 8th floor of Donki.

Ticket Center sales for performances are finally approaching the time later this month when I'll be in Japan. Out of interest I've just taken a look at the entry for Mariyagi's grad stage on 3/19 and the following appears when I'm not logged in:

    ticket2.jpg
The text along the bottom is in PNG graphics so won't work with Google Translate. I wondered if the red text here denoted a general sale but it disappears when I log into the Ticket Center (I'm not a FC member). However my guess (from what Kanji I think I know) is that the grey text on the far right would be red if it was available for a general sale, is that right? I think also that the grey text third from the left would be red for Fan Club applications? In that case, what is the first text on the left? (i.e. in red above).

Incidentally, my expectations of winning anything for any show are 'realistic' (i.e. zero!) but nothing ventured, nothing gained...
