BTW... talking about the inter sister group rivalry, the one to watch is NGSK who have been on an upward trend and i think were eithe4 very close or passed NMB last time around. How would people feel if they weighed in at 600 to 700k?

Personal insight : I became a second week buyer since Inazuma (2 first weeks 1st on Oricon). And I am now with almost all my purchases, even non SKE ones (except when there are votes).
There was some discussions pushing for this on Japanese boards at the time. I don't have time to follow if there are right now.

 

I liked Mirai to Wa from the first listen~ It showcases SKE's vibrant color and the butterfly concept is really beautiful. The song has this uplifting feel to it too,, But somehow I guess this single is bittersweet since it'll be the last one before the new shuffle takes effect. I'm more eager to see what post-shuffle SKE48 single will be...

I also like how Akarin is upfront in the perfs, a nod to her senbatsu rank~

 

Two-week sales figure is 453,785.

 

The current number of discs sold is currently at 55911, doing better than Sansei Kawaii, though I hoped that by now they would be stabilizing at 65k

Fans are 'saving up'?

Why aren't NMB/HKT fans saving up too then?

such a disappointment considering SKE increased sales streak.

 

The saving up theory is a speculation. It could also just be that fans spent more on AKB and didn't have time to get SKE's single for the first week. It could also be due to the many graduations that happened prior to the release. Their are many factors you have to take into account tbf

Is there a website where you can see all shop bonuses? (I know there was one for Labrador). There's a discount on this single at CDJapan and the external bonuses are still available, but every type comes with a different photo. If I decide to buy it, I'd like to choose my photo.

ok, it's been more than a month after sousenkyo but no one brought it up. is the speculation that sales went down because of fans saving up likely true considering the good result for ske in the election? 'we'll never know for sure but it's not far fetched of an idea after all.

 

I think Mirai to wa sale is pretty good with 502835 during first half of 2014. People paid too much attention to first week sale, especially first day and forgot that SKE48 was able to break 500k sale mark again.

Another reason for low first week sale could be that ske48 fans tend to spread out the purchase through many weeks (like UI ranked first for 2 consecutive weeks). After release day, Mirai still maintained in top 10 for 2 months. Just my 2 cents though.

Even if first day sale of Taiyou is lower than Mirai, I will not be freaked out.
