Masumoto Kira: as previously said, her duo with Kosaka Marino is one of the many perks of "SokoSaku". Beautiful and weirdly funny (the good kind of weird, imho)

Matsuda Konoka: the paradigmatic Kyotoite, well-mannered, refined and elegant. A perfect Yamato Nadeshiko, period.

Ozono Rei: another refined and elegant beauty, though what I most like in her are the heart-melting smile and the sharp wittiness...

Takemoto Yui: cute, funny, smart...the perfect package!
(I only hope she'll NEVER, EVER dye her hair blonde again though...Chukemon, it doesn't suit you, like, at all!!! )

Watanabe Miho: I really thought she was gonna be the next captain, whenever Kumi would decide to graduate......I'm sorry to say this, but as a J-drama fan for close to two decades now, I really believe her choice was not the best one (debuting with a tokusatsu rarely opens up a serious acting career, as tokusatsu actors&actresses are seen as "B-league" in Japan - there have been exceptions, of course...just not that many ). I hope Mihotan will manage to shine anyway, she surely has all the talent she needs!!!

Tomita Suzuka: although I really hoped she would make it to the top50, she got reeeeeally close, and I'm still happy to see I'm not the only one who likes her! Yay Sujii!!!!
Gorgeous looking (I can't wait to see her photobook...c'mon management, wake up!!!), beautiful voice (I hope I won't get killed by Kyonko's or Katoshi's fans, but I do believe, personally, that Suzy's voice is even better), tremendously funny...the whole nine yards, seriously!!!

I'm quite surprised, that her position has dropped so much. She is my group oshi since HiraKeya and her problems about nickname. I still remember, that once she wanted to be named "KatoShi", but other time complained about it In last years I've dropped a little bit Hinatazaka and focused on last years of 1st gen Nogizaka, but came back to their shows and music in 2022, so it's the effect - Hina-member at 2nd place in my personal ranking.

Miichan has been my favourite 1st Gen member since Akanen's graduation. I used to notice her a lot back in the days of Keyaki but now IMO she's the most beautiful member of the group.

She's my current HKT-oshi and as I posted recently in her thread she first caught my eye back in 2017 when she was still a KKS, in fact at the time she was my favourite KKS in 48G as a whole. She's very beautiful and I'm loving her PB which was published very recently (and I'd have ranked her a few places higher if my copy had arrived before the voting ended). IMO I think it's likely that she could get a single center position in the next year or two.

My Sakura-oshi has one of the cutest, most beautiful and heart-warming smiles I've ever seen on any idol, so much so that I bought both of the magazines on which she had solo covers last year. She deserves to get a B-side center but most of all I want to see her move forward from the back row of A-side senbatsu.

Nagi is one of my top favourite Eitos, I love her lively personality and she's great fun to meet in online talks. She's also very talented and her photoshoots are always good to look at.

Egochan became my current SKE-oshi last year after Minarun's graduation. I've had a soft spot for her ever since I entered SKE fandom in early 2015, she quickly caught my eye in the MV for 'Coquettish Juutai Chuu' and she was the first member whose name I looked up. She has a very cute beauty and a lovely gentle personality.

I'm late to this but I wanted to update my ranking now regardless full disclosure, I only follow AKB closely so the only girls I truly know from other groups are the older gens... that will explain my almost entirely AKB ranking lol.

This is the first time I'm following a new kks gen closely, and I've just fallen in love with them. I think they're all pretty talented and have a good range of personalities. Hotechan and Mayuuchan are on my top 3 for this gen and I can't wait to see what they're going to bring to the group once they get promoted. Mayuuchan especially I think will secure her place as one of my biggest oshis going forward easily, since she is good for variety. I'm glad AKB has her, since I think right now the group is lacking a bit in the variety types.

11. Zunchan really grew on me this year and I blame (in a good way) Sayonara Mouri on that! I really appreciate how variety shows always help me find members to appreciate. She takes a lot of pride and puts a lot of effort into her social media, and based on her slight increase in hanashikai sales, I'd say she's doing well!

It really hurt me when 03. Kanabun decided to graduate this year... I managed to see her one last time for hanashikai before that, and I remember telling her, "my original kami oshi is Tano Yuka, and I became a fan of you because of Yuka." She seemed genuinely happy about it, and then pointed out my Miichan t-shirt I was wearing for the hanashikai. I said I love Team K and she was so sweet. She also invited Tano Yuka to her graduation stage, so I do think what I said to her really did make her happy.

Additionally, I think she was just a lovely person all around. When my number 1 in this ranking got promoted from KKS, Kanabun was the first member to give her a hug and congratulate her, to which this member said it meant a lot to her because Kanabun was her favourite senpai at the time.

This graduation was the one that hurt me the most in 2022 and I wish her all the best

If I could pick out any member that had the best year of their career so far in 2022, it would have to be 10. Mogi. I'm so happy for her that she's finally a senbatsu member alongside YuuNaaOn and getting so much attention. She's beautiful, she's hard working and she's sweet. Well deserved.

I wish I'd given 17. Hinana more points, especially after that recent "non-senbatsu members" episode on SayoMouri, because she's just such a happy energy within the group and does so much for everyone without getting any recognition for it. She genuinely loves the group and its members. I'm happy she's found her passion with photography and hope she stays on as staff after graduating.

Kimi Shika Katan was released in 2021, but I'm so happy that 13. Katoshi received a center position! She is so pretty and I absolutely love her voice. In my opinion, she is among the top 2 best singers in Hinata. I hope she will stay in the group for much longer!

Every time I look at 15. Macharin, I'm reminded of the time someone used my twitter username to spread hate about Macharin on Reddit. Funnily enough, people knew it wasn't me because people knew I was actually a fan of Macharin, and someone even commented "we know you're not bonjourmarlene" LOL!

Macharin has one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen, and she truly lights up a room with her smile in my opinion. If there's ever been a member that I've actually felt romantic attraction towards, I would have to say it's Macharin.

Thank you, 16. Cherprang, for not leaving BNK48 I was so sure she would leave because she's got so much other stuff going on, she's got modelling and acting gigs, she is a scientist, and she's won awards like "GQ Woman of the Year Award", so if there's any BNK member whose career is pretty much guaranteed after graduation, I thought it was gonna be Cherprang.

I hope she's truly happy as captain and soukantoku, and I will happily accept her as a member for as long as she's willing to stay!

Seira -> I have no idea what she's up to right now, honestly, but I'm glad she came back from her hiatus. As one of my fave Saka35 I couldn't let her out. Hope to see her shine once again and who knows? Another collab with Sakura would be great

Rena - She is going through her big push right now and she's Sakura 5th single center, check the MV out! (lol)
The reason I voted for her is another though. Contrary to many other members, she managed to break her shell to pieces and create her little but important spot in the group. That's not as easy as it may seems from outside when you have many fellow gen members so extrovert and loud and just lovable crazy as our 1st 2ki batch. Good job!

TakeYui -> She was one of my first M&G and I loved every second of it. She's funny, extremely smart, mature and she likes laugh and make other laugh. Plus she is a dancer. Not someone who dance to work but one of those people who live to dance. I hope she'll get her own center spot soon.

Pon -> It's kind of weird how the more I like an idol the less I can explain it. Pon has been vital to Sakura survival. She was the base over which the new group has been created. Sure, 2kis took the lightspot and I'm not against that choice, but they could do it only because behind them there was a great 1ki. And the greatest for me has been Pon since forever. Ambitious since day one but willing to wait and support others, skilled, but working hard to get better and better, kind of a loner in the beginning, but growing in a woman who could create a safe space in which grown for everyone... Sakura face, Sakura heart, I'm glad she's still here to welcome our 3ki (of which documentary she's the narrator voice... go to check it out!! lol)

Rei -> I hope her new spot as backs song center does more for her than in this ranking lol. She's one of my Saka35 Oshi since the start. She started loving Keyaki, crying a lot, writing a lot and then finding a spot thanks to the way she talks. Now she's also physically "there" with a great MV and greater movements I didn't expected to see. I'm so proud of her you have no idea. Hope only the best in this new year for her.

Miho -> How dare you???!! Kidding, but really, where are all her Hinata fans? Tsk!
If things had gone differently and Hiragana stayed in Keyaki Miho would have been my Oshi after Techi's leave. This is probably the biggest compliment I can do to any idol out there. She was a Keyakid at heart, bulldozzed her way into Keyaki taking the main spot in Re:Mind even if her gen just started, and from there she was perfect. She never stopped being one of us but Hinata polished her skills a lot and she shone through her entire career there. Watching her HinaAi graduation made me feel like she wasn't exactly ready to take this step, but she had to... but this is only my perception of it, I can be wrong. She's my number 1 this year because she's always been my number 1 in a way. I'll miss her greatly and I know she's on dramas and such, but it's not the same.

What sad note to end this post, but I guess this too is part of a fan life lol

Sakata Misaki - should I have given her more points? I'm still struggling.. BUT!- making it to the Top100 after a little over a year makes me so happy! In my books, she got what it takes to become the ace/center of NMB in the very near future. You go girl, and I will watch you doing so!

Moriya Rena - Honestly, I learned about her only a few weeks, maybe months ago, but I quickly fall for. Beautiful, so petite and feminin, not a loud extrovert, but calm and charming. I am not really sure what her status in the group currently is. Was nice to see her going VIRAL with some tiktoks but that was about it. In the gerontocracy AKB have become she probably still has some time to make an impact, but also not that much, especially with new girls pouring in...

(52) [8] [AKB] Sakagawa Hiyuka {+33}, 33 - I've been surprised to see people actually becoming interested in her and seeing her as the future of AKB, in spite of her not being that active + 17th gen being a thing - or maybe this whole renewal + Remi's push brought some attention to her as well? All the same I was surprised to see her suddenly centre a b-side... So I'd like to think there's something to look for (although there's also a lot of doomerism about how she cannot survive in the group if she keeps commuting from Fukui), which would be great for both her and the group, because's she such a force of nature that could bring many new fans into the group. I'd LOVE to see her doing YT or something, I mean her story telling showrooms are legendary at this point, and just look at this random selection of thumbnails you see when you search for her name on YT, the girl's a living thumbnail machine.

Michapii is the unlikely and marvelous combination of a super nice girl who grew up only with her mom and loves her more than anything; clumsy girl who falls on her butt 20 times when attempting to play football and talks casually about farting in SR; completely different monster when she steps on the stage, performing and doing variety like she's been doing it for 10 years. Like the video below was her very first variety appearance and she killed it like if she was Yukirin or sth. I've made dozens of clips and funny screenshots from her streams because she's just so naturally expressive about everything. If you are looking for some new 48g star look no more!

09. 64. (---) [8] [AKB] Hashimoto Eriko{+32}, 32 --- Hands down my favorite of the 17th gen since it started. Really pretty, good in variety, and I particularly love it when she sniffed every member on Sayonara Mouri-san, just too cute. Hope she gets in the senbatsu in the next single.
11. 53. (76) [8] [NMB] Yamamoto Mikana{+36}, 36 --- Her visual is just getting into me more and more. Since Cocona left, I don't actually have any oshi in NMB, now I think finally I got one. Her being the center of the main new album song will be an ideal start.
12. 85. (---) [9] [AKB] Sato Airi{+28}, 28 --- I admit I wasn't one of them who was excited when Aichan was named senbatsu for AKB single (I was hoping for another 17-ki). But now that she gets that spotlight, I now have to say I was wrong, I think she fits in perfectly in the senbatsu, and very likeable, love her smile.

Sakata Misaki: I gave her 6 points (rank 6). My favorite NMB member! and she debuted just one year ago! She is just so great at everything. She's pretty, really funny and entertaining, cute, a great performer... and I love her personality, she's so natural. I'm surprised that she managed to rank in top 100 in her first year *-* I'm so happy that she's getting support here! (Please come visit her thread sometimes!) She has the potential to get very popular. I think she's the type that many people would like... I hope more people can get to know her ;w;

Sato Minami: I gave her 7 points (she's in my top 5). She's the cutest member in AKB for me. She's just so 'idol', her looks, her style, the way she writes on social medias etc. and after seeing her perform in Team B, I realized she's very good at performing too. I already liked her before but she went up in my ranking in 2022! and she also ranked up a lot generally, from 227 last year to 68 this time! Maybe top 50 next time hehe. and after the prank in Sayonara Mouri-san (she was too cute) now I really want her to actually get in AKB senbatsu once >.<

Sakagawa Hiyuka: I gave her 4 points. I like her personality, she's funny, and she's cute. I think management actually really likes her, I remember they gave her some push back then. then in 2022 they gave her a b-side center which surprised me! I hope she can move to Tokyo eventually, I'm sure she would get a push. and I like that she's acting.

Yamamoto Mikana: I gave her 3 points. She is one of my favorite members in NMB, she's pretty and she's actually entertaining, she's fun! and I like her dark style. I'm glad that she's center for the new NMB album! Hopefully this can make her even more popular (she's already doing really good tbh), and also make more people interested in NMB!

So with this, all of the NMB members that I ranked have appeared. I still have 9 of my votes who haven't appeared yet, they're all in top 50. I'm surprised for 2-3 of them, it's nice!
