I'm conservative in using OS and still on WinXP. Haven't ever tried Vista or 7. As we all know Vista sucks and i'm not sure that 7 is ok.

    CPU pentuim 4 3.0 GHz, RAM 3Gb 800MHz, GeForce 8800GS 384 Mb

I voted for Mac with OS X (A Macbook pro with 4GB RAM, running Snow Leopard) as that's the one I use the most but I also have a Dell PC with Windows (2GB RAM Intel Core Duo 2.8GHz, 320GB HD)

My PC is mostly used as a BT slave and I play videos on it to watch while working on my Mac. :awesome:

ivote for PC with Windows OS.

i`m use a old computer spec.
    Just Intel Pentium 4 3.06Ghz | RAM 1GB | HDD 160GB + 500 GB *and FULL (need a more Space HDD)
VGA 64Mb (XDD). Not special, but for now it`s rather enough for me. i can use Photoshop, Browsing, DL, n etc comfortly. and i ussually use XP SP3. i don`t know why, i not really like Vista and 7. sometime it`s make me confusing to use them.

and, i had my own set software for use, and it`s running on XP, when i try in vista or seven some of it can`t working...

and i use a lil notebook. BYON Chameleon N610
little but fun, i drop many my file too watch and collect in this one.

no matter how the spec. but how you can maximize ur spec ...
*because my low budget i`m not yet build my own PC.
[AMD Phenom X6, just wait me~ I hope in some of year in the future i can build it~] :^O^:

Intel I7 930 2.8Ghz, GeForce GTX 250, 6Gb RAM (triple channel), WD Caviar 1Tb, bluray burner. Plus 6-8 external MyBooks of 1-2Tb each (can't remember how many, and I am buying a couple 2Tb ones today). For OS I use Ubuntu. Not a gamer, as long as it can play Counter-Strike, Heroes of Might and Magic III and StarCraft, I am happy.

    At work I have an I5 750 2.67Ghz with 4Gb RAM and Windows 7.

For work (graphic design) I use a Macbook pro with OSX.

I also have an up to date gaming rig running under Windows 7 64bit.

I have currently a pc with windows 7. but it sucks u_u
Most of the days in the week I'm on a Mac OS, because on my windows the adobe programs don't work.
And since I study graphic design in school I use mac a lot there and I'm also planning to buy a mac, so I voted for mac.

Windows always seems to fail when I'm on it :wtf:

I have a MacBook Pro, but I've installed Windows on it, so I can use either Windows XP or Mac OSX.

Technically speaking, a Mac is a type of PC. Microsoft try to give the impression that a PC is a computer running Windows while Apple try to distance themselves from Microsoft by disowning the PC altogether. But that doesn't make a Mac any less a PC. xD

Since 2006 the mac is using the same hardware as in a common PC, so it isn't anything special anymore...
Before 2006 I think, it was not even possible to install windows on their systems without modifying it
