On May 5, she and Chaeryeong went on the JYP casting show "SIXTEEN" that created the Korean girl group TWICE.
She was eliminated in Episode 3.
Left JYP Entertainment and joined WM Entertainment.

In June, made her first appearance as a candidate on the Korean idol survival show Produce 48 (she had been training for 4 years and 1 month now).
On August 31st, came in twelfth place on the final episode of Produce 48 with a total of 221,273 votes. This meant she would debut with IZONE.

On October 29th, officially debuted with IZONE and the album COLOR*IZ.

On February 6th, had her Japan debut with Suki to Iwasetai.
Released on April 1st, adapted the lyrics for the Korean version of Gokigen Sayonara (originally released on Suki to Iwasetai, adapted for HEART*IZ.

On April 29th, IZONE officially disbanded.
On June 11th, released a dance cover of Peaches by Justin Bieber.
On July 12th, was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's upcoming dance survival show "Street Women Fighter".
