2017

• Started training for 8D Creative (was a trainee for less than 1 year before joining Produce 48).

2018

• In June, made her first appearance as a candidate on the Korean idol survival show Produce 48.
• On August 31st, came in 8th place on the finale of Produce 48. This meant she would debut with IZONE.
  • Her official color is coral.
• On October 29th, IZONE's debut album COLOR*IZ was released, featuring Hyewon in all songs.

2019

• On February 6th, had her Japan debut with Suki to Iwasetai.

2021

• On April 29th, IZONE officially disbanded.
• On June 12th, released an interview with "1st Look" on the magazine's YouTube channel, in relation to a photoshoot for the magazine.
• On July 8th, released her first photobook "Beauty Cut."
• On July 27th, appeared in the music video for "Hobby" by Parc Jae Jung.
• From October, appeared in "Cheating Trip" alongside Jo Yuri and Lee Chaeyeon.
