- Before she auditioned for SKE48, her father suffered a stroke. He survived, but now has long-term cognitive impairment, aphasia (difficulty speaking), and paralysis on the left side of his body. Hinano auditioned for the SKE48 9th Generation after her older brother said, "I think it'll make our father happy if you join SKE48 and shine on stage".
- In June 2022 her entire family including her father attended an SKE48 theater show. Her father cried three times watching Hinano perform. She later said she was happy that she was able to give back to him.
- Her original nickname in SKE48 was "Hinapiyo" before changing to "Hinano".
- She is good friends with Akahori Kimie.
- In March 2022 she served as the MC for TV Tokyo's idol information program "Music Break ~ i no Ryugi ~".
