- Her audition SHOWROOM number was #4. Her nickname during the auditions was Rope-chan (ロップちゃん). She used this nickname because she wore her hair in braids during her first livestream, and people commented that it looked like a rope. She wore braids in every stream afterwards.

- Her parents chose the name Marie (茉莉) for two reasons:
- First, because the characters read as "jasmine flower" in Chinese. In flower language, jasmine represents elegance, friendliness, and warmth. The name Marie therefore shows that her parents wanted her to grow up to be a woman who is charming and elegant.
- Second, because it can be romanized as "Marie", a common French name. This would make it easier for Westerners to pronounce.
- Coincidentally, the train station closest to her house in France was called Jasmine Station.
- She has an older brother.
- She has two pet dogs. One is a white shiba inu named Snow, and the other is a black shiba inu named Black. Black is 5 years older than Snow.
- She describes herself as a person with no special quirks or characteristics. She is also "not good at being indifferent", in the sense that she does not like to be idle and wants to experience new things.

This is an annual competition hosted by ITOEN tea company, in which 2,000 submitted haikus are selected to be printed on ITOEN tea bottles for the year. Submissions typically number 1 to 2 million. However, fans could not find any record of her winning, and instead found that she had won a different haiku competition, the Kobayashi Issa (小林 一茶) Elementary School Haiku Competition. Fans brought this to her attention, and she realized she had mixed up the two contests because they both had the character "茶" in the name. She apologized for the mistake later in her blog.
- She gets frequent nosebleeds in the summer. She says her best method to stop an active nosebleed is to suck on ice cubes.
- Her oshimen is Ushio Sarina. During the 3rd Generation Members' Cooking Competition on Hinatazaka de Aimashou, she chose Sarina as the senior she wanted to cook for.
- She is close with Miyata Manamo ("MM Sisters"). She said it is because of Manamo that she is able to talk to her senior members.
- She is friends with ≠ME's Ogi Hana. They visited an aquarium together in January 2022.
