• She was born in Tochigi, moved to Gunma at 1 month, and settled in Saitama at age 8. She considers Saitama as her hometown.

• She is good friends with Kageyama Yuka. While Yuuka was on hiatus, Akari would occasionally post about her on her blog.
• She, Watanabe Miho, and Kanemura Miku are known as the "Saitama Trio", as all three members are of the same generation and grew up in Saitama Prefecture. They sometimes carpool home together.
  • They formed the unit Color Chart together for the song Akubi Letter on Hinatazaka46's 6th Single Tteka.

• In April 2022 it was announced that her oiginal story "Minna no Mameo" about the relationship between a girl and her Shiba Inu dog would be animated. She had created the story with a mangaka on the program Manga Unknown. The animated series would be in the form of 1 minute episodes and broadcast on TV Asahi’s Sodaterebi.

2017

• On August 15th, passed the auditions to become a member of Hiragana Keyakizaka46's 2nd Generation.

2018

• From August to September, appeared in the stageplay Madoka Magica's Magia Record Musical.

2019

• On February 11th, it was announced that Hiragana Keyakizaka46 would become a new independent group, Hinatazaka46. Akari would therefore become part of Hinatazaka46's 2nd Generation.

2020

• Starting from October 2nd, was a regular on the radio program Belc presents Hinatazaka46 no Yokei na Koto Made Yarimashou! with the other members of Color Chart.

2021

• In October, became a semi-regular for the TV program X-MOMENT Presents CHOTeN ~Konshuu, dare wo yosou suru?~

2022

• On February 25, the anime film DEEMO: Memorial Keys was released in theaters.
• From April, started voicing the character Mami in the OVA Minna no Mameo.
• On May 13th, she wrote on her blog that she suferred from back pain and it limited her participation in concerts and events. It was further revealed later that she was hospitalized for a period of time.
• On July 26th, released her photobook Yasashii Kankei.
• From September to October, was involved in The Gaming Days, a Valorant gaming series alongside Iwamoto Renka and Yoshida Ayano Christie.

2023

• On February 15th, opened her Instagram acccount.
• On March 19th, was revealed to be the center for the 9th single One choice. This is her first center position for a title song.
• On August 25th, went on hiatus due to her ongoing back pain problems.
• On December 30th, returned from hiatus.

2024

• On August 6th, announced her graduation on her blog.
