Matsumurabu is Matsumura Kaori's debut solo indie single.

First member of SKE48 to get a solo single.
First Kenkyuusei Member in AKB48 Group to get a solo single.
The single is produced by Sashihara Rino, in charge of the lyrics, clothes, makeup and covers of the single.
Because of a limited budget, the dress used by Kaotan is made from newspapers involving AKB48.
Only 1000 copies were made on the first production.
Kitagawa Kenji and Yuasa Hiroshi participated as actors on the PV.
The single was sold at the Nagoya Dome north parking lot by Matsumura Kaori itself. She signed each one of the CDs and gave a 50 yen discount to all fans.
After the event, some fans try to resell the CDs on auction sites. Because of this, Kaotan made a post on disapprove on her Google+, posting each one of the links to the auctions.
The front cover is a parody of Oogoe Diamond's cover, the insert cover is a parody of Kataomoi Finally, while the back cover is a parody of Heavy Rotation's cover.
On January 24, 2013, the 2nd day of AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 200 2014, it was announced that the single will have another 3000 copies made which will be sold at Nagoya Dome Concerts in February
The single was released online on June 29, 2014
