- 25 - NGT48 is officially announced during the final day of the AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 1035 2015

- 26 - AKB48 Spring Shuffle 2015
- AKB48's Kitahara Rie is transferred and appointed as the captain of the group
- AKB48's Kashiwagi Yuki to have a Kennin Position in NGT48

- 10 - NGT48 auditions start. They last until May 18, 2015.
- Girls between ages 11 and 23 were eligible to apply and the audition had a total of 5,850 applicants
- From 5850 girls, 74 finalists were selected

- 10 - AKB48 Group Draft Kaigi 2015: Ogino Yuka and Nishigata Marina join the group
- NGT48's participation on the Draft was announced on May 3, 2015
- The representing members were Captain Kitahara Rie, Kennin Member Kashiwagi Yuki and Theatre Manager Imamura Etsuro

- 25 - The 22 winners of the NGT48 auditions are announced, forming 1st Generation: Otaki Yuria, Oguma Tsugumi, Kado Yuria, Kato Minami, Kusakabe Aina, Sato Anju, Sugahara Riko, Seiji Reina, Takakura Moeka, Takahashi Mau, Tano Ayaka, Nakai Rika, Nakamura Ayuka, Nara Miharu, Nishimura Nanako, Hasegawa Rena, Homma Hinata, Mizusawa Ayaka, Miyajima Aya, Murakumo Fuka, Yamaguchi Maho, Yamada Noe
