  • On April 13th, during the NGT48 Tandoku Concert, movement to newly formed Team G was announced.
  • On July 1st, had her theater debut with Team G for the Saka Agari stage.
  • In December, Maho went on a social media semi-hiatus. Furthermore, handshake meetings were cancelled.

2019

  • On January 8th, Maho revealed during a SHOWROOM livestream and on Twitter that she had been attacked by two men in her apartment building the month prior, explaining why she had been absent from handshakes and social media. See Assault of Yamaguchi Maho
  • Between January 8th and March 8th, took another leave from social media and NGT48 group activities.
    • On January 12th, participated once more in a theater show and apologised for causing worry to fans by speaking out about her attack.
  • On May 19th, graduated from NGT48 together with Hasegawa Rena and Sugahara Riko.
  • On May 29th, it was announced that she was signed to Ken-On Group.
  • On September 12th, changed her instagram username from nohonon_mahohon to yamaguchimaho_official.
  • On September 17th, her first solo photobook was released.

2020

  • On January 12th, starred in her first acting role since leaving NGT48 in the drama 'Panda Judges the World' (白でも黒でもない世界で、パンダは笑う).
  • From September 5th to 13th, starred in the stage play, "«Hashire, Melos!» ~Bungou-tachi no Seishun~" (『走れメロス』~文豪たちの青春~).

2021

  • On April 18th, starred in the drama 'Kekkon Dekinai ni wa Wake ga Aru." (結婚できないにはワケがある。).
  • In Summer 2021, starred as the protagonist in the movie adaption of "Chocolate no Mahou" (ショコラの魔法, The Magic of Chocolate).

2023

  • On September 21st, left her agency Ken-On but kept her official website, hinting at a possible future as a freelance entertainer.

2024

  • From March 13th to 17th, starred in the stage play "Aku no Musume" (悪ノ娘) as Charisma.
