She has very young parents. Her father and mother were only 20 and 17 years old, respectively, when she was born.
She did classical ballet for four years growing up.
Her grandmother saw the application for the SKE48 audition and encouraged her to participate “in place of her mother”, as Yuna’s mother had dreamed of being an entertainer.
She formed unofficial tags with Nojima Kano as Sakuranbo, with Goto Rara as YuRara, with Sugawara Maya as SugarButter (SugaBata), and with Mizuno Airi as ONo.
She was part of the unofficial Team Heart, together with Sugiyama Aika and Ota Ayaka. Her signature pose is a heart pose, which made her part of Team Heart.
