Hopes, Fears and Predictions for AKB48 2013?

Only going with a single hope, a fear, and a prediction on this year... hoping they will try again with another U.S. release(or at least more appearances here) meanwhile fearing that they will experience some growing pains with the expansion of the sister groups into new territory in Asia and Japan but predicting that despite the concerns over declining sales the girls will adapt and show that since 2005 they have no intention of stopping short of eventual domination of the music industry world wide

 

Hopes:

1. AkiP realizes that he need to do something regarding AKB future. No more boring faces, please.
2. Yukirin, Tomochin and Takamina do well in election.
3. Make another senbatsu for new gens, and have double A-side.
4. Bring more new gens that aren't boring.
5. New gens keep improving on shows.
6. Sales wouldn't drop drastically.
7. Good music, good promotion.

Fears:

1. AkiP still wants to push Paruru and make her center and ace no matter what. [worried]
2. Mass graduation from 1-6 gen members.
3. Million streaks broken.

Prediction:

1. Many new gens get pushes from the management.
2. Yuko still no 1, if she join the election.
3. No overseas expanding.

 

SNH48 China will inevitably be compared with AKB48 because they are 'sisters' and the Chinese will certainly make the comparison....and SNH48 already sound so freaking good live that AKB48 are going to be on the defensive.

It Will happen. This is not Kpop -v- Jpop.

My prediction is that fans on both sides and the media will make the comparison and see that AKB48 are a big fail on live performances and their neighbours are out shining/shaming them in ability... . This harsh light I predict will cause a change at AKB for at least the sake of being shamed by the Chinese. Inevitable I think.

 

Why would AKB care about this anyway? Why would they care being shamed by the Chinese? If so, why did they make international sister groups?? [speechless]
Btw, SKE already outshine them, but still management don't care about quality development in AKB.

And...why do you think a good live performance like SNH did could sell better than AKB? There are many singers/group with great live ability failed too. Isn't it too early to judge SNH is outshine AKB based on one live perf? This is a show business, ability is not everything to become success.

My predicition: AKB is still like them in 2011 and 2012. No much change, except maybe we'll see mass graduations.

 

Hope: less lipsynch ... seriously after 7 years

I hope so too! SNH proved that a 48 group can sing a whole stage live and sound good. And goodness knows how much the girls would improve if they sang live more. I don't mind lip-syncing for idols but plenty of idol groups sing live, AKB can too.

 

My hopes:
No graduations, a single that sells 2 million copies, a tour in Europe
My fears:
Some important graduations
My predictions:
Some important graduations (Sayaka, Mariko)

 

My prediction: AKB48 groups start to do more live singing.

Because of SNH48.....like this one little girl at SNH48 showing there may be a lot of talent in that group..

Hopes : yuko win this sousenkyou this year.and in her winning speech, she announce her graduation.

Fears : AKB lose their million selling streak.

Prediction : milky,paruru,and sayanee will make into senbatsu in the sousenlyou.

 

Hopes: Mayuyu wins this year's sousenkyo, Paruru enter Senbatsu, less member to graduate this year from all 48 group.

For rather impossible hopes, i hope Sasaki Rikako will betray SCK Girls and join 48 group.

Fears: last year's graduation streak will continue this year.


Predictions: several senior member will graduate after fall release.

 

Predictions:
-Sayaka, Yuko, Natsumii, Kana, Amina, and some others to graduate
-Mayuyu wins Sosenkyo assuming Yuko does not participate (if Yuko does, then Yuko will win)
-NMB will sell more than SKE this year (one of their singles will at least)
-HKT's debut will sell around 250-300K
-Sasshi's ranking will drop but she will still be Senbatsu
-Same with Miichan (hope not though...)
- Nakanishi Yuka graduates later this year

Hopes:
-Yuko gets to star in a million acting roles and leaves AKB and is successful and dates Eiji Wentz or whoever she wants
-Sayaka made Team K captain again
-Sayanee makes Senbatsu in election
-Wasamin makes Undergirls in election

Fears:
-Sayaka will have a crappy send-off if she graduates
-Jurina will collapse and need serious hospitalization
-SKE shuffle. Please no. Please no.

 

Hopes :

- Sayaka, Mariko, Yuko, Natsumii, Kana and others old generation not graduate until election time.
- Sayaka enter the Senbatsu Again (Eventough, 3% probability [clap] )

 

I have read this thread with great interest and have finally decided to write a little. For myself I have no fear of what may happen in AKB, maybe because I have no emotional connection to any of the members. What is happening is happening. Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?

As regarding hopes and predictions, there is more a curiosity about what will happen when the four foreign transfers returns, and foremost then Akicha and Sae. I am quite convinced that there are plans ready for them. A suitable option is that they will return to their old teams and then become captains of these when Mariko and Yoku take their graduation later on this year. It really is time for that.

 

Predictions:
- Mayuyu will be Center for Sakura single, Jurina for Cool/Dark-Theme and Paruru for Summer (noo...)
- Mayuyu will be Center for another type..
- Sasshi will rank lower
- Tomochin will drop out from Sousenkyo, since we don't know when she's graduate
- Yuko will rank lower, maybe 2, and Mayu will higher (I hate it!)
- Takamina rank higher, since this year, her solo is release. Maybe around 4-5 (I hope she get higher! 3?)
- Jurina will rank higher in Sousenkyo. Around 6-7
- Paruru, Milky and Ricchan rank higher. Akicha, Sae and Sayanee rank lower (I hope it doesn't!!)
- Maybe.. Another 1st generation graduation (Maybe Mariko)
- The single song will still Sakura > Summer > Sousenkyo > Cool/Dark-Theme (another Ouen?) > Janken

Fears:
- Another 1st/2nd generation graduation (maybe Kojiharu or Mariko)
- Prediction of next Sousenkyo, maybe Yuko will rank lower
- Another song like Eien Pressure T_T <-- I hate this
- Another pushed member

Hopes:
- Another concert!!!!
- Takamina or Yuko will get at least one single (with they as the Center! WCenter is okay)
- Yuko will still in 1st, with Mayu in 2nd (okay, it will be) and maybe.. Takamina in 3rd?
- Yukirin new single~ *Another new single!!*
- Another Team Song~ With Mayu/Taka as Center again for TA
- Another Ouen Song
- JKT's First Single released, since they already have one team (TJ) and they can release new single. Plus new song, not translation song
- AKB new dorama!!!
- AKB New Stage

It's all my hope for this year~

 

mariko-sama, akimoto sayaka will promote to management positions (make them stage managers already).

AKB48 future secure around strong core of Riichan, Paruru, & Mayuyu.

Haruu, and Oya will step up to fill the variety idol role. (+ maybe komariko)

Fujie Reina will be tall model-type and big sis to fill behind Mariko.

Kasai will collab with Oshima Mai.

Tomochin will make wedding announcemnt [boom]

 

Sae maybe, but definitely not Akicha. Akicha has an "airhead" personality and I remember in a backstage video she got in trouble for ignoring/sassing Takamina when Takamina was giving a team talk. She's popular, but I don't think she's captain material at all.

 

Considering how the year already turned out to be in February, I'm not sure but it may be safe to say that it couldn't get much worse than it is right now, at least I hope so... [think]

But anyways, I just hope there won't be anymore major scandals, at least one that'll make a member graduate [think]

Hope :
Mayuyu will be a regular center
Better single,, I think 2012's singles was not as good as singles in previous years. Hope they can make a new good one song
Miyu-miyu and paruru will gain some ranking on senbatsu ^^

Prediction :
48 family will be more popular in the world as many sister group has made in another country
New generation will dominate..
Oshima Yuko will be graduate

Fear :
my kojima harunyan will be graduate
my mariko-sama will graduate too [worried]
