Trivia

• This is the first senbatsu of Fujie Reina, Kuramochi Asuka and Matsui Rena.
• This is the last senbatsu and single of Oshima Mai.
• This single gave AKB their 2nd Music Station performance, the first one being for Skirt, Hirari three years before.
• The single's tagline is 「2019年、僕はどこで、何をしているのだろう?」 ("2019nen, boku wa doko de, nani wo shiteiru no darou?" / "In 2019, I wonder where, and what will I be doing?").
• 10nen Zakura was the theme song for a DDM.com CM.
• According to AKB48 staff member Yuasa Junji, the original name for the single was '10 nen go ni aimashou' (Let's meet in 10 years), then '10 nen go no sakura' (10 years later sakura), then finally '10nen Zakura’.
• The line to buy the theater version of 10nen Zakura at the AKB48 theater was so long, the police were called cause it was causing a disturbance.
• On the cover the members tried mature hair and makeup to fit the “10 years later” theme. They are arranged in alphabetical order like a graduation album.
