Before joining AKB48, was a member at a dance school and a child model.
She has been learning dance since age 5. She has learned locking, hip hop, and jazz styles, among others.
She is known to be good at remembering fans who visit her during handshake events
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, handshake events were replaced with online hanashikai (talk) events. For these events, fans enter a nickname that the members get to see before meeting the fan. Based on this nickname, Kobayashi was able to identify a fan and told them, "I have seen your tweets!"

On June 7th, participated in the Shonichi for Team K's revival of the RESET stage.

2019
