MNL48 (short for Manila48) is a Filipino idol group and the 3rd international sister group of AKB48. The 1st generation members were officially announced on April 28, 2018. The group has their own theater, located in the Eton Centris Mall in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Differences from other groups
- The first year, all members who did not rank within the top 48 in the Senbatsu Elections were forced to graduate from the group.
- All members have a one-year contract.
