The term Top 7 describes the 7 most popular members among BEJ48 and GNZ48. Originally, the term have its origins in Skirt, Hirari (AKB48 Single), when 7 members were chosen for Senbatsu (see Kami 7).
In the SNH48 Group it appeared for first time in the SNH48 13th Single Senbatsu Election.
