Risako has been called a "gorilla" character, and her original catchphrase mentions gorillas. For her final date scene of the video game AKB48 Renai Sousenkyo, she and the player visit a zoo to watch gorillas.

As a parody, Risako formed the Gorisa Children, a group of kenkyuusei that she teaches narcissism and bad habits.
