Her real name is 桑原瑞希 (same pronunciation as her stage name).
She was the commander of the unofficial SKE48 Katsuo Corps, a group of members within SKE48 who occasionally performed MC skits together.
- Katsuo (カツオ) was one of Mizuki’s nicknames, given to her by Yamashita Moe after Mizuki wrote a blog titled “Rainbow-Colored Katsuo Fish Diary”. In the blog she took a selfie with a dead Katsuo (Bonito) fish from her home prefecture of Kochi. Moe found the blog so funny that she began calling Mizuki “Katsuo”, and the nickname eventually spread to fans, staff, and other members.
She was known for forming the unofficial "Kuwabara Children", a group of Kenkyuusei and U-16 members who Mizuki would give extra training.
- For her graduation performance in the theater, Mizuki and the "Kuwabara Children" performed Oki Doki to a dance that she choreographed.
She produced the stage duo Tsuru no Hitokoe with her sister.
She graduated from Meijo University with a degree in law.
She is the main personality for her own radio program "Kuwabara Mizuki no Detox Shimasenka?"
