- The other members of Team M jokingly called her "ChanRii" instead of "Riichan".
- The Chupopo pair (consisting of Ogasawara Mayu and Kotani Riho) were both huge fans of Riichan, describing her as "an angel". This had caught on within the fans, and many fans refered to her as an angel as well.
- Chupopo are also credited to starting the annual YNN program Riichan 24 Hour TV, which is a program lasting 24 hours and the name is a reference to the Japanese charity show 24 Hour TV. The set is decorated with cardboard cutouts of Riichan.
- She has a very carefree personality.
- Once during the filming of the TV show Naniwa Nadeshiko, she ended up wandering off during filming instead of doing the activity given to them. She was eventually found buying ice cream.
- She was known for her extremely blunt personality and for speaking without thinking her words through.
- Her advice giving corner known as 'Riichan's Problem Solving Room' (りぃちゃんのお悩み相談室) which was a part of Team M's MCs had resulted in her unintentionally insulting people, and she made comments which had been deemed inappropriate by management and had been edited out a few times.
- It was a running joke that Riichan's comments often blow up and she would often get featured on matome sites for being controversial.
