- She loves sukiyaki and has many opinions on how to eat it. She uses two eggs, does not add matsutake mushrooms, and adds udon.

- Close friends with: Tani Marika, Nakanishi Ayaka, Sugamoto Yuko, Murashige Anna, Kawaei Rina, Kojima Natsuki, Shimazaki Haruka, Ogasawara Mayu
- She has been best friends with Tani Marika since childhood. Marika even asked Chiyori's permission to audition for HKT48, since Chiyori had already been accepted as a 1st Generation member.
- She was also friends with Nakanishi Ayaka before auditioning for HKT48.

- When she was only two years old she developed a serious illness and couldn't eat by mouth. She was hospitalized for nine months.
- According to her mother, when Chiyori was in the hospital she always had a smile on her face and laughed. Ever since then, she has loved to make people smile.
- She was known as one of the best vocalists in the 1st Generation of HKT48.
- She practiced swimming, hip-hop dance, and Japanese dance when she was younger.
- She is well known for her comedy skills.
- She can do many impersonations, such as Inoki Antonio, Inoue Yosui, Imoto Ayako, Stitch, bird calls, the sirens at Koshien Stadium.
- She often mispronounces the "forty-eight" in "HKT48" and "AKB48" as "pory-eight". Fans have teased her about this for many years.
- She is afraid of insects.
- Former HKT48 theater manager Sato Kazuya described her as "a mood maker, to put it well, or noisy, to put it worse". He described her as a bright personality who can liven up her surroundings. Theater manager Ozaki Mitsuru described her attitude toward variety shows as more serious and enthusiastic than anyone else.
- When her transfer to AKB48 was announced, she posted her feelings on Google+. She acknowledged that she would probably never be part of AKB48 Senbatsu the way she was part of HKT48 Senbatsu. Despite this, she decided being in AKB48 could give her more chances to appear in media programs.
- When she first moved to Tokyo she lived in a hotel for three months before moving into an apartment.
- In September 2020, she participated in the M-1 Grand Prix 2020 comedy tournament with Oya Shizuka under the combi name "Mentai Musume". They passed the first round, but were eliminated in the second round.

- On November 26th, had her theater debut at the shonichi performance of HKT48's Kenkyuusei stage, Te wo Tsunaginagara.

- On March 2nd, was part of the senshuuraku performance of HKT48's Kenkyuusei stage, Te wo Tsunaginagara.
- On March 4th, was promoted to Team H (Team H formation).
- On March 4th, was part of the shonichi performance for Team H's 1st stage, Te wo Tsunaginagara.
- On June 27th, had her first appearance on AKBINGO!.
- On August 29th, was part of her first AKB48 song, Ano Hi no Fuurin, on AKB48's 27th single Gingham Check.
