Dareka no Tame ni it's a charity project by AKB48. The project was announced on April, 2011, one month after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. The project includes donations from fans, live performances on disaster areas, Christmas events, charity singles, special performances at the theater and a donation of a part of the money from singles and concerts.

- Two charity concerts were performed at the theater, both of them on March 11, the exact day of the earthquake
- 30 school buses were also donated to the disaster areas
- A part of the money raised on Kaze wa Fuiteiru was donated for the charity
- Kitahara Rie is the member with the most participations on the disaster areas performances, with 4 performances
