- In April, passed the auditions for AKB48's 12th Generation.
- On May 5th, made her theater debut as a Zenza girl in Miniskirt no Yosei.
- On May 22nd, had her first full performance in Theater no Megami, along with the rest of the 12th gen Kenkyuusei.

- Became a contestant on the Korean idol survival show Produce 48.
- Ranked in class D after the initial evaluation.
- Stayed in class D after the second evaluation.
- Performed GFriend's "Love Whisper" during the first performance round. Her position was sub-vocal 1. Her team lost.
- Performed Fitz and Tantrum's "Handclap" during the second performance round. She placed fifth within her team.
- Was eliminated in Episode 8 at 38th place with a total of 299,255 votes.
- On June 16th, participated again in the 10th Senbatsu Election and made Kami 7 (7th) for the first time.
- In December, it was announced that she would be the lead role in the movie "Okasan no Hibaku Piano" お母さんの被爆ピアノ), originally to be released in Summer 2019.

- On April 7th, passed the weather forecast test; the test had a pass rate of 5.5% and Tomu had been studying for "1700 days" (4.5 years) before finally passing.
- From April 18th to 28th, appeared in the stage play Bakumatsu Taiyouden Gaiden (幕末太陽傳外伝) as Koharu.
2020
- On February 2nd, appeared at the Japan Expo 2020 in Thailand.
- On May 15th, the movie "Okasan no Hibaku Piano" was supposed to finally release but was postponed again due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- On August 8th, "Okasan no Hibaku Piano" was released in cinemas nationwide.
- Released on September 17th, appeared as a weather forecaster in the video game "Life After.
2021
- Throughout April, was part of CM's for CHC.
- On May 29th, attended an award ceremony after "Okasan no Hibaku Piano" received the 38th Japan Film Reconstruction Encouragement Award.
- On July 15th, received a certificate for passing the 2nd Grade "Certified Skilled Professional of Financial Planning" exam.
- On August 16th, announced her affiliation with the agency "Ikushima Planning Office."
- On November 22nd, announced via twitter she would be appearing in the movie "Danshari Paradise" (断捨離パラダイス), with a planned release date for Fall 2022.
- On December 8th, at the AKB48 16th Anniversary Team Shuffle, was announced to stay with Taguchi Team K.
- On December 21st, was on the cover of the February issue for "MAMOR" (マモル).
