Fukujin (福神), meaning "god of fortune" in English, is a term that describes the front members from Nogizaka46. Originally Shichi Fukujin (七福神) as a direct rival to AKB48's Kami 7, the number of members in this position have changed throughout the releases.

When the concept was originally conceived, it was described as "the seven center members that were chosen by the group's management, based on lesson results and fan response". However, the Fukujin members did change before the release before the group's first single, Guru Guru Curtain.
