  • On March 8th, had her theater debut at the Seishun Girls stage.
  • On May 22nd, her first saitansai (birthday stage) was held.
  • From June 28th to July 7th, participated in a SHOWROOM in the "AKB48 Group Rookie Member x Popteen" event.
  • On July 8th, won first place at the event and appeared on Page 1 for Popteen magazine.
  • On July 24th, was part of her first SKE48 song, Suberidai kara on the group's 25th single FRUSTRATION.
  • In September, went on an injury-related hiatus.
  • On November 15th, had her first appearance at the Seishun Girls stage since her injury.
  • On December 31st, appeared in her first "SKE48 Countdown Performance 2019 → 2020."

2020

  • On January 13th, appeared in the AKB48 Group Adult ceremony.
  • On January 19th, appeared for the first time at the AKB48 Group Request Hour – she performed Suberidai kara with other members of 9th Generation.
  • On March 31st, achieved 100 consecutive days of streaming on SHOWROOM.
  • On June 17th, SKE Matome released the news that Sayaka placed first on an international 48 Group fan ranking, including international and graduated members. She earned 192,894 votes. Second place was AKB48's Murayama Yuiri with 46,799 votes and third place was NMB48's Yamamoto Sayaka with 24,967 votes.
  • On October 5th, was promoted to SKE48's Team KII.
