- The Chupopo pair (consisting of Ogasawara Mayu and Kotani Riho are both huge fans of Riichan, describing her as an angel. This has caught on within the fans, and many fans refer to her as an angel as well. Chupopo are also credited to starting the annual YNN program Riichan 24 Hour TV, which is a program lasting 24 hours and the name is a reference to the Japanese charity show 24 Hour TV. The set is decorated with cardboard cutouts of Riichan.
- Known for her extremely blunt personality and for speaking without thinking her words through. Her advice giving corner known as 'Riichan's Problem Solving Room' (りぃちゃんのお悩み相談室) which is a part of Team M's MCs has resulted in her unintentionally insulting people, and she has made comments which have been deemed inappropriate by management which have been edited out a few times.
- It is a running joke that Riichan's comments often blow up and she gets put up on matome sites for being controversial.
